Memory Mirror, version No. 2

2016

This installation was made after Steina Vasulka's interactive installation WARP from 1983. "The effects of Memory Mirror consist of 'time twists' and multiplications generated by the 'slit scan' technique. During this twist, the temporal values are translated into spatial values; we can then say that time is enveloped, immersed, in space." (Yvonne Spielmann)
